Meet Deborah
There are times along life’s journey when we can all use a guide,
a companion to help steady our balance or ease our load. Combining soothing touch and a warm heart, care and concern for the whole person, and skill as a coach and teacher, Deborah Pantalena wants to share her passion for rich and healthful living with her new and returning clients. |
|
Highly intuitive and gifted with a deep spirituality, Deborah knew from an early age that her life’s work would focus on caring for others. Twenty years as a registered nurse and Deborah’s own life-transforming experience with the holistic modalities of reflexology and Reiki convinced her that traditional medicine and alternative healing techniques are mutually compatible: “There is no reason today to take an ‘all or nothing’ approach to healthcare. Standard Western medical treatments, and non-traditional touch therapies can compliment and support each other giving my clients greater resources and ‘tools’ from which to choose.” Deborah combines her solid professional experience in oncological, intensive care, and cardiac nursing with extensive training in a variety of powerful healing modalities.
Augmenting her clinical work at Stamford Hospital Bennett Cancer Center’s Integrative Medicine Department and her growing private practice through the Tully Fitness Institute, Deborah was invited in 2003 to travel to Xiangya Medical School in Hunan Province, China, where she gave a series of lectures to Chinese doctors on the advantages to patients of incorporating reflexology with standard medical treatment. Deborah finds it exciting, if ironic, that healing modalities that have their roots in the Far East are returning there through Western medical professionals. She’s looking forward to more international travel and teaching.

Deborah’s primary healing focus is to balance the body’s natural energy. Treatments that only address physical symptoms often ignore the needs of the mind and spirit, intensifying imbalance and leading to ongoing difficulties. |
| Deborah’s goal is to help her clients reach their goals, such as the ability to achieve relaxation and find renewed energy in the middle of a hectic day, or to successfully manage troubling health concerns. In addition to employing holistic modalities to relax the body, Deborah teaches “energetic tools,” and guides her clients in using them to untwist thinking, calm the mind and soothe the soul. |

Through Deborah’s healing touch and “energetic tools,” her clients grow to recognize and enjoy their healthful inner energy. Their energy is rebalanced; the result is greater relaxation and confidence in the ability to better handle whatever is encountered along life’s journey.
